power problems

    got a 1997 vtr 88k on the clock, mods= supersprint centre pipe, some jap end can, and lowered 40 mil all around, just replace all the ngk's and leads, my m8s got a 1999 50k vtr, with a ppr x induction kit and twin exit longlife exhaust but rest of exhaust standard, race him side by side yesterday but he was pulling away from me, got me sketchin out big time, any ideas whats up with my car to make it slower,bearin in mind ive smoked 1.4 16v corsas and 1.6 fiestas in it, i think my exhaust is blowing quite a bit aswell, could that be it?, cheers

    If blowing yes abit, done oil etc? Or maybe your shit driver? And he's good? Take it these races was on private roads? Or Santa pod?
