Important! : Drivers side sounds like dying seal!

Basicly the noise coming from the drivers side wheel area sounds like a dying seal...

Doesn't make a noise when accelerator is on but rolling or dipping the clutch and it starts up again.

Mechanic didn't have a clue, my power steering is broken so he said he'l have a look once its fixed but I don't think it's anything to do with that

    Any ideas??

Your wheel isn`t rubbing on anything like the arch liner is it?

no the wheels itself isn't rubbing, doesn't make any noise at all when I'm accelerating

I'm kinda stumped because I've been out to check and the cv gaiter and alternator belt seem fine

i had a similar symtom on my 206 and it was the diff in the gearbox, when i let off accelarator and dipped the clutch in whined

Does it sound like a seal being clubbed or eaten by an Orca?

Mine made the same sound. My Cv gaitor had came off and got really dry. But I had some grease put in it and a week later it was fine
