accelarator pedal really heavy

    was reversing today and had to rally push the throttle down quite hard to get it to move but pushed it to hard and it jerked up to 2 or 3 thousand revs

    is there anyway of making the accelarator pedal more sensitive ???

    Check the condition of the cable & put some grease on it(at the throttle body)

    where is the throttl body on a saxo kuz im not the best mechanic, and its dark llf

    Its the metal part attached to your air filter you`ll see the cable on the front of it.

    sound mate, anothere thing, just started to reverse it again there and it started squeeking very loudly like the handbrake was on and the power sterring went off any ideas?

    The squeeking and your power steering maybe related to an alternator problem

    i thought that myself, but what does the alternator have to do with brakes and steering ?

    You need the alternator for the power steering & the noise your getting could be coming from the alternator bearings or your drivebelt
