yet another central locking question :/

Ive have a search and seems to be a common problem with the central locking motors going faulty, anyway my passenger door motor dont work i will try locking the car and the locks will go down then come straight back up, my way round it was i just disconnected the one connector so the door wouldnt lock via the fob, which works well just means i have to lock it with the key or push the pin down, but ive got another motor now and was wondering how to get the motor acually out the door as is kinda tight to get too

i had a search but couldnt find anything any help would be good peeps

The motors are attached to the lock assembly. You will need to remove inner door panel + handle, unhook the link rods, then unscrew the 3 door lock screws on the edge of the door. You should be able to manoeuvre the lock/motor/rods out from the inside the door, although its abit fiddly. Once its outside you should beable to fit the new motor (check it works first) and put it all back together
