bonnet moving

   OK, my bonnet it engaged into the latch, however it still moves up and down about half an inch. Should it have a spring to keep the tension while its shut?
   
   I presume if it did mines gone.. anyone know where i can get a replacement?

   is it just a bolt on job or should it be welded? just so i knows what tools to take.
