delayed power

   went to put my foot down today in my vtr and it seemed that it had a flat spot, came off an island and had an old woman in front of me that was going walking pace so i thought i'd over take her but when i put my foot down it seem to be delayed, this was in second gear but when i changed to 3rd it bogged a bit then picked up normal agian. its never done this before any idea what this could be?

   When was it last serviced?give it a service changing the plugs filters oil etc.

   it was serviced only in december mate. only done 100 miles since so hopefully it isnt that haha

   See if you can swap your coil pack over with a mate,is it a mk1 or mk2 saxo?

   its a mk2 mate, got no mates with a vtr, only vts and 1.1's. will these fit or has it got to be for the vtr?

   I think a mk2 vts coil pack will be the same(inline overhead 1)
