fitting vtr throttle cable to the vts eng

  1. #1
    how do you do it?

there is a hole with a rubber gromit on the left if the intake manifold then the same underneath. then the cable fits throuh onto the throttle body from there .

is there an easy way to do this or do you have to strip some more of the black outer cable off the wire. please help- asap!

    cheers

yes i have got before and after pics!!!

i rang pug performance and they said i could use a pushbike gear cable. so i did and i runs as sweet as a bon bon!!!

man its soooo fast i cant beleive it. you can tell its got the high lift cams in it. i feels like it has a turbo in when you hit 4k!!! just need a manifold and exhaust system now and i should be running around the 150 bhp mark!!!

    cant wait!

Nice one matey. Has it had a remap too then? Because you would need a remap to see 150ish bhp.

yer it has already had a remap. idle is a little lumpy but im not fussed with that. it has an aftermarket unlocked ecu that came with the engine. it had already got the cams in with the remap when i bought it!
