just wondering what people think about these, we have them in the work van and they are great, but do they look stupid in a car?

I have rubber citroen ones in my vts and i kept them from my last car so i must like them lol.
Far easier to clean than mat material ones as the dirt just washes off with a hose and i think they're a better quality and dont fade or get wrecked over time.

they're way better, they don't take an age to hoover well like the carpet ones do

Less mess if you take them out of the car first though

rubber mats dont add a very 'homely'/warm/comfortable feel to a car. And there bloody annoying when you have wet shoes and it squelches everytime you move

Iv got a set for the winter which i dont mind getting mud on, but in the summer iv got some nice carpet ones

I've got a set of genuine pug rubber ones, and I like them. In the winter the carpeted ones get very damp with the ice and any snow, and as mentioned I scrub mine and they come up brand new, and only take about 10 minutes to dry. Carpeted ones tend to hold all the grit etc as well.

I run them because I have a stripped interior - wet feet+resprayed interior=slippy fail. Rubber mats for the win

mine came with rubber ones, but just didnt like the look of em. no difference in function, just makes the car seem more classy having proper mats in there (even if they are cheapy motor world ones). makes the car seem cheap somehow having rubber ones imo. but like everyone says, its your car, do what the feck you want mate!

Used to ave em in a 4x4 and were spot on and easy to clean! Down to your requirements, muddy boots = rubber mats

I had them in my last car, for the drive home at least and then binned them, your feet slip all over the place and they look a bit cheap imo

Rubber mats are good because they are easy to clean, but the carpet 1`s look better Asda are doing a full set of carpet mats at the moment for £5.00 they don`t look to bad either.

Carpet ones fuck me right off, always either catching on the back of your shoe (thankyou Citroen with the pathetic foot well of a Saxo!) or they move around to the point of near underseat disappearance!

    Rubber ones ftw
