painting wheels

   hi i was just wondering what painting was best for my vtr wheels i want to turn them silver to black,any help thanks

   1st off rub down with wet/dry paper to key the surface then (others may not agree)spray some acid etch primer on the wheels.Then after flatting(when dry)any aerosol paint from Halfords will be okay depends on the finish you want ie matt/gloss etc.Don`t forget to lacquer them afterwards and spray in a warm dry place.
