   Cheap mods will be a straight through exhaust and enclosed induction kit which will give a few bhp (maybe 1-5bhp)
   
   More expensive you are looking at Cams and a remap
   
   Even more expensive you are looking at Throttle Bodies or Turbo/Super Charger

   yeah i got a straight through exhaust and induction kit,getting manifold next
   thinking of getting cams and remap after

   The money that camming (one cam on a furio) and remapping a 1.4 you'd be better off with a 16v engine from the start.
   
   Your insurance will increase with a modded engine remember!

    i would of got a vts 16v but insurance is to much,so thats why i got a furio.
    and they wouldnt know about a modded engine?

    Until you crash, they examine the engine - see the induction kit & manifold and refuse to pay out!

    Not worth the risk mate, if you crash and they find out you have modification which you did not tell them about, they will refuse to pay out
    Then see how much your insurance is on your next car.......bend over much!

    suspension, exhaust, manifold and induction kit then enjoy the car for what it is.

    yeah i suppose so but i had quite a bad crash in my last saxo and that had mods and i got payed out,just gona see what happens

    rip the furio engine out wack a vts straight in with 4-2-1 manifold decat and pipercross panel filter cost you around £500 then spend a few 100quid on your suspension and brakes so you dont end up in a hedge lol

    do it mate and weight reduction is the best form of modifiying because its free!
    so maybe strip your rear seats and spare wheel out of the car 2
