Few niggles with my saxo -

Right so, basically i have my rear lights working fine. Both on, soon as i press the brake pedal, The right light just goes off totally and the left one's brake light comes on as normal.... could this be a bulb issue or a faulty holder with the right light circuit ?

Also, Sometimes I when im turning right round an island i have a whistling/rubbing noise from what seems like the wheel or around there... Its intermittent too ?

Should i just tell my mechanic to have a look at my drive shafts, wishbones etc ? To see if anythings not right ? I have had an intermittent knocking sound under my pedals whilst turning left for a fair while, No money to sort it. I think its wishbones or shafts, Droplinks are new so its not them.

    Any help cheers guys,

Check your bulbs and wiring for the lights.

I also have the knocking and rubbing problem.

You'll know if it's drive shafts because they'll knock all the time when turning.
If it's the same as mine it'll be wishbones.

yeah ive had wishbones problem before it sounds a lot like that.... But the rubbing is a strange one.... I thought maybe a stone in my discs or something. Theyre relatively new discs so it cant be a worn pad. Ive just had the car jet washed so ill listen out, Could have been a build up of brake dust or something stupid, My car was a bit filthy.... As for the lights, i might just get a new bulb and see if that works, Maybe the contacts are shit on the old bulb or something.

A stone would make a screeching sound, not rubbing.

Have you looked at your tyres and arches for marks?

Tyres are new mate, toyos cx1 IIRC... did have a look at them all seems ok.

Maybe ill have the mechanic look at it. See if he cant spot anything on its way out.

As long as it doesn't cost you anything... To be fair anyone can look under a car and see if something's damaged or broken. Lol.
