just found that my driveshaft has a hole in the gaitor and the grease has splattered everywhere and i think its been like this for a while now as theres a really loud grinding noise when i take off. it was like this when i bought it a few months ago but the mechanic i took it to didnt see any problem with the noise or what had caused it. would it be a case of buying a new cv joint or better off with a new driveshaft??
