hi ive got a spax 60mm kit on my car but ive noticed the coils touch and make a rubbing noise as im driving along i also tested it with some 1 standing on the side of the car while wobberling the car to get the noise then i pulled the spring slightly apart and noise stops - do you reckon faulty springs help needed as it is doing my head in

its called spring chatter. spax are known for it. ive heard people wrapping a few cable ties round the springs, or use what eibach use which is like a rubber sleeve/tube which goes on the ends of the spring. These quieten it down a bit but also raise it a few mm's as ive heard. I have the 60mm spax springs and they arent that loud. i think i can hear it sometimes when going over bumps but it doesnt bother me
