mechannic sais my furio cant be lowered

   yh i took my car in to get it lowered 40mm front and back...
   
   the mechannic sais dat Furios cant be lowered
   
   is this correct? as i have seen many furios that have been lowered.
   
   he also sais he can do the back torsion bars by adjusting the splines and by putting the rear axel the opposite way
   
   surely this cant be right>???!!!

   My furio begs to differ!
   
   Don't do it by notches.
   
   Rest the whole rear beam on a jack, and remove the torsion bars. Then jack the beam up to the desired hight (5mm more than you want it lowered), then re-insert the torsion bars.

   i had mine lowered by a proper merchanic!!
   
   lowered it 40mm no problem!!

    Hellow m8,I had my furio lowered 45mil no probs by a mechanic in scotland,its bin dun a year and it's perfectly fine.

    I don't understand? So he told you he couldn't lower it cos it was a Furio, then said he would be able to lower it by splines...

    mines 60mm all round two clicks on the torsion bar and 60mm shocks/ springs. and its a furious
