70mph 3900rpm ???

   my car has 195/45/15 tyres its a vts on gps it does 3900 rpm @ 70mph
   
   if I fit an xsi box what will the rpm at 70mph ?

   It will always vary on gps tbh mate
   
   I've had a 1400 xsi box on before and on the clocks doing 70mph it used to sit at 4k bang on, a mate also has a 1400xsi box and his sits the same place
   
   With the Vts box you should be around 3k to 3.2k doing 70mph on the dials? I can't remember exactly, I know my current s2 rallye box sits at just over 3.5k doing 70mph
   
   But the gps will always show a lower speed than the clocks, I'm sure I did 80 on the motorway the other day and it only said about 71-72mph on the gps I think

   My gearbox code is 20cd08 which appears to be a standard vts box
   
   I will get it checked against a rolling road

   With mine, 70 mph indicated on dials was bang on 3500 RPM with VTS box and 195/45/15 tyres.
   
   With S2 Rallye final drive at 70 mph, the needle is ever so slightly past 3500 RPM.

    With a 1600xsi box, you'll be looking about 3700rpm. 1400 xsi box = ~3900rpm.
