Lowering my vtr

Ive got an apex 50mm kit to put on my vtr thinking of maybe haveing a go at fitting it this weekend with a m8 coz hes done torsion the torsion bars before so will help me out.. we've got a pretty good idea of what to do just want to make sure I have everything for the job before we start. so if any1 has a list of tools i would need and any tips that would be great! also what kind of balljoint breaker would be best? thanks
