Carpet edge by door seal prob

   Since i purchased my cars a few years back i noticed that the carpet was not fitted properly , where the carpet edge to door sill ( weather seal ) meet's ! well there is a gap and you can see the metal ( in my case the blue paint ) , doe's anyone know how this was kept in place ? , i did think about using glue but if i ever need to remove the carpet it will be a bugger to get back out .

   they not held in place with anything mate the best bet is to use double sided velcro then u can take it out easily if needed i just glued my black one in.

   Mine is held in place by little metal clips which slot down on the sill joint and clamp into the carpet. About 6 all the way round the door.
