Geronimo Cages

   Done a search and cant find the answer.
   
   Looking at getting a geronimo half cage.
   Does the cage fit though the boot into the car?
   And what do you mount it too? The rear looks to be seat belt mounts??

   dont think they trade on here anymore, they changed their name and then i think they went out of business afaik..

   They were a bit hit and miss apparently on the welding. Wouldn't trust them personally. and they go in through the door

   Im looking at buying one second hand. So you have to remove front seats to get it in?

   my old one the welds were fine, but the minis owner club complained of poor welds and poor fitting cages..
   
   front seats out to fit it. bolts to the floor and through the boot floor.

   So you've got to drill holes in your floor to mount it

    And fit strengthening plates under your boot floor. Cant just bolt it though the boot floor it will just bend.
    
    Best thing is to get some strengthening plates, mark up the holes with the cage off the car, drill the holes then weld some nuts onto the strengthening plates so you can just bolt in/out from the top.
