few problems

    hello everybody.having few proplens with my vts wondering if u can help me.the handbrake light is on all the time the brake fluid is fine and the button gos down on the floor its doing my head in.
    also my friend said to me that the drivers side rear brake isnt working av noticed it a bit skittery wen braking hard.also the abs light is on do you think it cud be the rear thats not working ? any help wud be appreciated as i dont know much about them as i have always had corsas thanks guys

    try to adjust handbrake ... and with other problems i dont know ...
    maybe abs saying last words and for your side rear - try to rebuild your caliper (piston, rings)

    al give that a go m8 thanks.im on the look out for a axle so al get the caliper rebuilt not used to this as i am used to drums on the back lol.i have got handbrake light , abs light ,sometimes air bag light, eml (decat), wen the headlamps and foggies r oan the whole dash is lit up.lol.doesnt look to good if ers a car next to that can see them all,

    when u doing up your hand brake ... check all the time after few adjuster turns ... good handbrake is 4 -5 notches
    p.s on my 1.1 .. handbrake is underneath of the car where is exhaust ... need take out the heat shield ... where is on vts ... sorry , i dont know
    fog lights takes a bit of energy ... btw ... check your wirings .... put some wd40 on connections ... i have similar problems as well but mine is not to bad ... but i think my alternator cant keep up with all my electronic devices

    handbrake light could be the switch. Thats located under the handbrake lever (little black push button). Very easy to replace.

    Rear brake not working may be stuck piston in the caliper. Rebuilding the caliper is the option here.

    ABS light may be the wheel sensor, Yo can get the car plugged in on a diagnostic machine which will tell you which sensor is out.

    i got it plugged into the launch and it came up undefined code on abs

    I got the same problem on mine, did a live data reading and apparently the passenger front was doing 1016km/h!!! drivers rear was reading 191km/h and no reading from the other two. I'm thinking maybe ABS pump. Did you sort your problem yet?
