Should I take out some oil?

   My oil level is above the maximum.
   
   Should I take some oil out? If yes how?

   yes you should
   not sure how to do it but i would drain all the oil out then put enough back in

   Wait till the engine is cold, then go under the car, there will be a sump plug, a 24mm spanner will fit it, oil will go everywhere though, so have a bucket under ready to catch it, might be quite hard to get the plug back on with it coming out, so might be best to drain it all.

   Don't drain it all, you can get the plug in easy enough, It's not that hard mate

   Should be alright mate it will just burn it till its at the right level just means it be a but smokey fo a week or 2

   This can damage valve seals, drain some out. U can get big syringes to suck it out but I can't for the life of me remember what their proper name is

   Turns out it's just called an oil syringe
