#5To be fair, im not the smallest of people, but i put all of the rear seats and the parcel shelf in a black dustbin sized bag and carried them to the shed for storage, and they do weigh a fair cop
you wont notice a difference once removed though, the tail might be a bit happy if you have standard tyre pressure -
#6If you're gonna be wanting weight saving.. Strip the car and gut it completely. Rear plastics, rear door cards, seats, sound proofing etc..
May not notice a difference that much with day to day driving. You'll just get alot of road noise. -
#8I had the rear seats, parcel shelf, boot carpet and boot floor sound matting out of the R for a sprint event in the summer. Just the whine of the fuel pump got irritating on the road let alone the increase in road noise, and that's with all the bitumen stuff still in place on the floor pannels.Quote:May not notice a difference that much with day to day driving. If you're keeping the car on the road I'd stick with a bit of comfort as you won't notice a few kg's difference (although I managed to drop the weight of the R by 60kg+ fairly easily for the sprint) on the road. Save stripping it for the track.
