Hi! I need help with my 1998 saxo. Its a 1.1.
I've never had any issues with it in the 12 years I've had it but just recently its started loosing power.
The only way I can describe it is like trying to drive in a too high gear, even though I'm not. It gets really sluggish and makes a noise like its straining too hard.
I can be doing 70 (of course) on the motorway and it will suddenly loose power and drop down to 50. If I take my foot off the accelarator for a second its as if I've slammed the breaks on and it will come to an almost stop.
Any idea's of what might be wrong would be really helpful!
