gti not turning over

   what could it be ive cheak earths two on box and one on body and also starter anything else?

   have you done an engine conversion or has the problem just started occuring ?

   is it not turning over at all? or is it just not starting?
   any ignition lights?
   can you hear the fuel pump priming?
   
   youve not given us much info on whats happend???? all we can do is guess at this point....

   If it's not turning over then it's the battery, starter, earth or wiring.
   
   If it's not *STARTING* then that's different. Can you clarify if you mean turning over or starting up?

   its not turning i can hear pump got light and the engine turns over by hand so not seized cant even here starter trying to like the solenoied in starter clicking :s

    same problem as me my friend your ecu is locked. you need to find somebody with same plug ecu as you to unlock it or send it away to a company in nottingham to be unlocked. thats what i did and everything is fine car drives mint pulls like a train.
