Gasket or cracked head

   Started up today, and its running on three cylinders and smoking. Narrowed it down to no1 cylinder not working. Theres oil pissing out from the front of the block in front of no3, so I guess thats it.
   
   But it was a second hand head and I think it was cracked in the first place, I had to use K seal. Its run for a year since then. So anyone have a Mk1 1.4i head? [thats ok this time] Does the XSi head fit but its slightly quicker I have heard?

   This is most odd but it has sorted itself out. Today I started it and it was running on four but smoking heavily. Second time I started it up it ran fine with no smoking??
   
   Has anybody else here come across this same phenomenom? Its as though the gasket has seated itself again.
