Rattling

   There seems to be a rattling coming from the area around my feet when i'm driving/under the car. Its a sort of 'plasticy' rattling, only tends to happen when i'm going over a bump which leads me to believe something is loose.
   
   Any ideas?

   SNAP, same as me mate, especially when accelarating, going round corners, or like you say going over bumps, wondering if theres a heat shield under there?

   Yep exactly the same, round corners too... only started a few weeks ago. I thought it might have been a heat shield, but thought maybe posting it up here i'd be better safe than sorry...?

   Ahhh i'll have a look at the wheel arch, seems to be on the right hand side so that may be the prob.

   out of interest, where is the heat shield on a saxo anyway?

   The exhaust heatsheilds are around your feet area under the car.. Maybe worth a tighten or thier not really needed so take them off and thier not included in the mot so no worries thier also.. The bolts thread thier are on are notorious for breaking as they become so corroded so be careful if your leaving them on. If its not that then look at the arches i actually put a bolt onto my arch's (From the under side) to fully secure them to the car
