Quick exhaust question

    Picked up my 3rd saxo the other day for £750! Needs a bit of work doing to it.
    Its a 2002/3 model with the cat in the manifold. Now the manifold is blowing like mad just after the cat! so looking for a new one. Will any fit of litre engined car?

    Also, it was blowing just after the middle box which as you probably know is one piece. Now i phoned for a new one, and was given a pipe which was straight through. Iv tried fitting it to the car today and the backbox just dont like going on! Its the clamp with a single bolt! Just wondering, as i believe it may be the 1400 centre pipe, this should still fit surely? I bought a later type centre pipe before for my mk1 vtr to act as a decat and that fitted?

    Little help would be mostly appreciated

    Bit confused really, by looks of it the exhaust is originally for a 1.4 saxo later model. So should fit?, Seems to align poorly and the backbox dont seem to fit dead nicely yet the flare on the end of the system that came of looks the same

    Does anyone actually know? Also would a manifold from a 1.4 fit ok?

    your manifold will not fit all different saxo's.

    All 8v manifolds have the same stud pattern

    They have same pattern but notice the pipe is longer on the vtr when comparing to 1.4's and 1.1's. Bit odd that, anyone know about the centre pipe?
