whats the flashing red light on dash

   on the centre console next to the de mister and hazard lights theres a little red light that flashes, is this for central locking or what, iv not got fob for it so wondering if it was something to do with it?

   dunno kuz when i typed my reg in for insurance quotes it said i have a alarm/immobiliser, but where would it be cuz i cant see one :L

   It's the alarm, do your hazards flash when you press the lock button on your fob?

   dont have a fob mate lol, just the key, but im taking thats what its for?

    will be, yes. If you lock the doors with the key, it doesn't arm the alarm (as far as I know...was that way on my W reg VTS years back).
    
    As long as the car starts and shit, don't worry about it, it'll be a nice little deterrent for thieves if it flashes when the cars locked up.

    unless someone just added a flashing led for deterrent purposes? haha
