recently changed my gearbox and clutch it was fine once i first had it back but recently its been hard to get it into gear mainly 1st ? just sort clunks in to place have to use alot of force to slam it in ... ive looked at one of the linkages and theres a peice of rubber hanging offit ? could this be one of the problems ? or maybe my clutch could need adjusting put the bite seems alright not to high but not low .... anyone had this problem?

#2Sounds like it could be a linkage mate! shouldnt be any rubber exposed as this is on the inside of the linkage head to allow it to move but also to secure it also. replace the linkage and see if thats any better. they should just pop off with a screwdriver or something to wedge it
