Altenators

   Right this might be a stupid question i have a 1.1 mark2 saxo and need a replacement altenator. Mate offered me one from his vtr which he is breaking just wondering if it would work on mine or does it have to be one from a 1.1?

   umm im not sure i could be wrong but i think the vtr alternators are the same as the 1.1's im not too sure though :/

   Check the connectors on the back 1st.

   there all the same but think 1.5 diesel is different i think!! but defo sure that all petrols are same

   As stevo mentioned its the connectors that matter.. So check yours against your mates
