   Can someone tell me how many different types of MK2 engines there are?? as I need to know if my cat/downpipe is f**ked or it is for another model
   
   Basically do the 1.4 engine have the same setup as the VTR ?? cat built in the downpipe ?? and would it be the same ??

   theres 2 mrk2 engines i beleive dependin on what reg the car is

   Mines an X reg bud 2001, cat at the front of the car not underneath.
   
   I need to know if the are two sizes of cat/downpipe ??

   dont mean to point out the ovious again, but the engine section you wil get a much better responce and will stay up the top for longer so people can see it to help! you will be lucky for this to stay on the first page for a couple of house!
   
   
   i am not sure but on the mk2 the cat is and the front and not underneath but i think there are to different typrs !

   1.4 and vtr have same setup, so its either cat in manifold or cat under car.

   how can an x reg be 2001....is it not Y and 01 that are 2001....if its a 2000 then I think the cat should be under the car....you can see it when you open the bonnet if its in the manifold

   X reg 2001 - Car was purchased Jan 01, just before reg change.
