What to use to spray chevrons?

Just got a colour coded Grill for £8 off a Saxo Desire for my VTR as I was going to spray it myself but for the price it was cheaper and quicker to get ha.

I want to spray the chevrons a shiny black, Sand, Prime and spray then Lacquer?

    What spray should i use?

Also I have got some recent sprayed wheels just picked up some lacquer for alloys, do i literally just spray lacquer on then leave half hour then one more coat and leave to dry then its all ready to roll?

    Thanks!

Yeah do the chevrons like you said, rub them down with very fine grade wet and dry, plastic primer 3-4 coats, colour of your choice 3-4 coats, then the same with laquer.

So am I right in thinking you've got these new wheels and they have been sprayed but just no laquer on them? If you're sure of this, I would flat the wheels down with extremely fine grade wet and dry, then spary on a good 3 coats of laquer leaving 20 mins or so between coats. Should see a good result

edit: make sure you leave the laquer on the wheels to dry for at least 2/3 days in a warm enviroment

    Thanks alot!

The wheels i bought they have been used you can tell where a bit of paint has slightly come away on the edge only noticeable close up, but i can literally scratch the paint off with my finger (hard though) so im guessing its just missing a protective layer or so? hoping a little lacquer will do the trick.

Also if i sand the wheels wont it take away the paint?...

I'll sort the chevrons off my old grill then swap with the new one so i dont have to be without

Thanks for the advice! any links to the paint to use or even primer?

For what it's worth then I would probably sand down the wheels using progressively finer wet and dry paper, and start again with some primer/paint/laquer. Will be better in the run and you know it's done proeprly then. For paint I use halfrods stuff, always worked fine for me, but someone on here might be able to link you to some other stuff off the net
