Broken angel eye (mk2) clips

   I've just bought some angel eyes for my mk2 vt and the two inner clips are broken (I knew about it when I bought then).
   
   I was just wondering could I cut the clips off my standard lights and plastic weld (or glue) them onto the angel eyes?

   mines broke on my standard lights i still had the clips, tried fiberglassing them on got them back on the car within a week they had came apart tried glue they came apart in a day. maybe plastic weld would do but if i were you id take a trip to the scrappies and snap some clips off a light in there instead of damaging your own mate
