Alternator plug

Right found out why the battery light was on. . .

The puple/blue wire on coming out of the plug ( thats on top off the alternator ) has come loose and is dangling out . . .

i shoved it back in and it was fine then went for a drive and it came out again . . .

Now its back to battery light and whining noise . . .

What do i need to fix this ? new plug ?

Go to a scrappy cut a plug off leave enough wire on the plug, then solder the new plug onto your loom.Alternatively cut the plug off your existing loom & put spade connectors on with some heatshrink over the wire/terminal.
