i have a problem

    i try and start my car and the starter motor just clicks i have a light flashing on the dash and dont know wat it is.


    how many wires should i have on the starter and were do they go

    i have a light blue one, a black one,

    Right, the second image you have uploaded there are 3 threded bolts, the left one has a nut on it, leave that. The top most one has a small blue wire comming from the loom where your starter motor gose. the right one has a direct feed from the battry and a thicker wire where the little blue one comes from bolt them 2 together and then u should be good P.S the 3rd image shows the 2 wires needed but u also have a direct feed from the battery aswell

    thanks and so i have the two green and yellow ones go to the bolt on the right. with a power lead from the battery to the same bolt and the blue and black go to the little 8mm bolt on the top

    Yep that is perfect give that a go makein sure all ur bolts are tight. p.s befor connecting it back to ur box try and start ur car, ull here the starter go mad

    the black wire has a ring onit that is to big to fit on the little 8mm bolt

    What do u mean the black wire, it should be blue ?

    there is a blue one a black one and the yellow and green one

    The blue gose on its own the 8mm. the green and yello one + the direct feed go together

    when it was like that all it did was clunk i had a black wire witha ring onit coming from the same place so i put the black with the blue and the yellow and green with a wire from the battery and it turned the engine so i dont know how it should be wired up if ur saying that

    It may be that urs is wired difrently. That is the way mine was wired so i got no idea i hope u got it going anyway

    no i didnt get it goin so just taken it out to tidy up the engine bay and respray it
