Does the dials restrict the revs? I have troubles with the car but if i hold it and let it rev it bounces at 6250rpm and its got a vts ecu just its got furio dials so would that be the cause of it not revving to 7250rpm?
Dials restrict revs?

#2no the dials do not restrict the revs however im not sure on this so someone will have to confirm it, but maybe it is revving to the same amounts but because the numbers are in a different place on the dial face to on vts dials, it appears as if it isnt revving as highly. if that makes sense

#3failing that, and assuming you got a vts engine to go with the vts ecu have you got a vts rev limiter? if you still got a furio one that would explain it
-
#4Sounds like a problem with the ECU.

#5It might be becuae the limit on the dial is in a different place but i have never heard about it before. The ecu is fine as far as im aware but i dont have an EML??? It dont even come on with the ignition but would i not have as its an unlocked ecu??

#6There's no way the dials can dictate the rev limit. A lot of people leave the 8V dials in when doing a VTS engine swap and they do go up to the 7200 RPM limiter.
I would have the ECU checked. I know someone who had a VTS ECU unlocked and when it came back, he had the 8V 6250 rev limit. They flashed it with the wrong software apparently. -
#7That may explain why it runs rough aswell, it wont idle even and it holds back when you floor it.
-
#8I would go with an ecu problem too,the ecu may have an incorrect map so the rev range is not right. You could try it with a different vts ecu.

#9i have only just bought this ecu lol. I think im going to get it tested.
