Fuse blowing problem

   Hey, just wondering if anyone could help me?
   
   On driving back from work last night, everything was fine and then all of a sudden the lights on my dash went out, everything except the lights for headlights,indicators,fogs etc!
   
   I checked the fuses and the fuse in f12 had blown, when i put another one in it blew straight away.
   
   I just want to know if anyone has had the same problem or know what the problem could be.

   cheers mate, i had a look at it the other day after finding a list of what each fuse does and i assume it was something behind the centre console.
   i took it off cos when unplugging my phone charger from the cigarette lighter it pulls the centre out so i thought one of the wires from the back of that had come off and was shorting out.
   its all sorted now so i can see what my dash reads in the dark!
