   hello all is a 106 quicksliver engine the same as a vtr eg like head bolts, water pump, valve seal, cambelt kit

   I would have thought they would be different as the VTR engine is a different size. Someone else should be able to give a definitive answer though

   no its ive got head bolts, water pump, valve seal, cambelt kit for a vtr and wondering if they would fit my quicksliver 106 8v 1.4 engine?

   I thought so. Only reason i ask is because his signature says 16v. But yes if its 8v everything should fit

   ive done a conversion to a vts engine and now got the old engine on engine stand and going to rebuild it up better and see what bhp i can get out a 1.4 8v Lol

    I wouldnt expect to see more than 90bhp but GL!

    well got ported head, rallye intake, new high lift cam, get exhaust mani and maybe a few other things any ideas?
