Hi folks just after a bit of advice.
Cambelt snapped the other day so got a new one fitted and car wont start..looks like i've bent a few valves..What i need to no is do you think it will be worth taking the head off and replacing bent valves or just bung another engine in? if latter anyone no where i could find a cheap engine?
    Car is a 1998 saxo 1.1i...cheers

You'll need to rebuild the head or just fit another head. And hope the pistons arent damaged much.

as kris says, good used head may work out cheaper then repairing the one thats damaged. certainly not worth changing the engine just for a bit of top end damage, especially if there were no faults with the engine prior to cam belt failure. Who says you'll end up with anything better, still, got heads and engines here for sale.

Happened to my vts 2 weeks ago, much easier just swopping the whole engine IMO saying that I already had a low miler lined up
