The clutch cable only leads through to the gearbox arm.. You sure its just not the pedal in the car squeaking ? lol

    If not...

    Check the gearbox arm

Is the squeak constant when the clutch is in? Or does it just occur as the pedals pushed in and then stop?

Might be your clutch release bearing getting knackered.

I had a very similar noise, had driveshafts sorted and one replaced and squeak went...

Also thought it was the release bearing but driveshafts sorted it

    Easy check.
Do you get the squeek with engine running?

NO - put a small drop of oil on the release arm where it enters the gearbox

YES - release bearing is breaking up-look to replace it shortly.
