might be the sunroof if u have 1 mate check the drainage chanels if u have a sunroof

There are generally three causes mate.

most likely the aerial base has come loose, or is tight but needs a bit of sealer on it too

the rubber seal around the edge of the sunroof has popped off slightly

Or least likely, the drain pipes that go from the roof to the floor are blocked causing water to puddle on the roof and drip through one of the above spaces.

I would put money on aerial! What you need to do is pull the interior light out and disconnect the attached wire and you will see a 7mm nut iirc? loosen that so there is a slight gap between the aerial and roof then slap a bit of sealant around and tighten the nut as much as you can should sort the problem! just wipe any excess sealant

I'd go with the aerial too, dismantle and seal as above and bye bye leak

    +1 to aerial...

silicone the aerial compartment and clean out your seal from your sunroof. leave it a few days even if it does leak a little as you need to get all the water trapped inside unless you want it to rust :/ that's what I did and now it doesn't leak! plus make sure your sunroof glass isn't condensationed up and really wet, if so leave the cover open and dry it after cleaning out the seal.

i wiggled my aerial earlier on and there is a gap about a milimetr big so am guessing that it is the aerial then

what if i wanted to get a beesting aerial in the future, will the original aerial be hard to remove with sealent around it?

check either sunroof or the bolt that holds the ariel down

The beesting screw onto the standard base so will never have to move it, however the bolt on the base tens to rust through after several years and the whole base can snap off quite easily leavin you with a stud in the roof lol.

    Might be worth buying this

Then whacking some sealer on with the fresh one and then you should never have to remove it again.

This must be why my first saxo came no RCL sensor lol.

It had a leaky sunroof and there was just a hole where the sensor should have been!
