Rubbish amount of light

  1. #1
Hi i was just wondering if someone can help. My current headlight bulbs give off rubbish amounts of light.

Ive sprayed the inserts of my headlights black , could this be the cause of rubbish amount of light ??

Na aslong as you have only sprayed the inserts, it wont make too much difference. Just try some new bulbs, there are lots that claim to be brighter

Watch out for the fake nightbreakers.

What i would personally do is re-wire the headlights using a direct feed off the battery and a relay which is switched by the original headlight wiring.

Dead simple to do and much better results,

This, make sure you get them aligned properly though. Don't want to go blinding other road users.

I only got hi beam ones so they were cheap off eBay £40 and came with led sidelights for free

But your best bet is to get the ones off here in for sale section they also come with super bright led bulbs to go with them

6k is probably best as I heard the police are going to be checking up on lights
    But 8k do look awesome
