fuel guage

   hello
   
   right,
   
   my fuel guage seems to not be working properly, most of the time i put petrol in, i have to tap the dials for it to move, and it doesnt seem to go past around 3 quarters full,
   
   any ideas what i can do? perhaps i need new dials

   Cant trust a saxo fuel gauge tbh
   Sometimes the fuel light comes on before it even near the empty on my vts
   Not sure changing the dials will sort it, im wondering if the part that reads the level in the tank can be replaced

   Mate put it this way it tells me i get 267miles of £50 which is poor!, Exhaust is blowing which could be the reason lol

   thats roughly 30mpg which isn't too bad, but i'd get that exhaust sorted.

   could be the reader in the fuel tank, mine doesn't seem to be too bad tbf but it does sometimes move up and down, even when im on a flat

   not sure then, ive got a set of old dials i might try, see if they make a difference
