pressed plates...

    i have french pressed plates, and have been told to remove them by police...
    now, euro plates r legal...
    if i change the F on my plates to an E would this be legal??
    the plates also have the euro ring of stars...

    Glad you asked this question cos i bought a saxo with fench plates on but some say there ilegal but this lad had em on his car for 8 months and never stopped,

    pressed plates r legal,
    but french arnt... so gb logo is legal or blank 1s are 2...but i wanna no if i change my F to an E would this be legal? lol

    Gaz - Yours are legal mate as they have the GB Sign
    Rowland - Can you not just buy GB Ones ? - They do look better than Standard imho

    made a thread on it last week...

    Pressed plates are legal providing they are reflective, have the maker of the plates details, a GB logo or no logo and also the BSAU145d number. Also to be fully complient with the law the maker of the plates must of seen proof of ownership of the vehicle and proof of id.

    thought pressed plates are illegal as they are none reflective thats my understanding anyway.

    There are companies that can make pressed plates that are reflective, such as dubmiester. Along with the other requirements meaning they're legal
