Basicly guys i want to change my 1.4 furio/westy engine for a 1.6 vtr engine or 1.6 vts as i have recently found out my car is not on 76k miles its really on around 130k miles yes its been clocked about 2 years ago, it runs fine but i done want to risk it and i want a tad more power , didnt want a vts engine because of insurance but i am willing to bit the bullet and just have to pay it if i choose to go 16valve . But my furio is a 2000 x reg mk2 but its a single plug ecu and has cat under the car so is a crossover years car , so what problems am i going to run into and whats the most simple way of doing it without changing any of wires (i mean splicing them) can i get a vtr/vts engine and simple bolt it in connect loom from vtr/vts to car and drive shafts , everything ect ect
i want to only have to spend around £300.00 so i want to be able to do it myself (ive got some knowledge know how to sort most shitty problems) and i have a mate with a engine crane and he has most of the tools needed.
