   Hi can anyone help I have a 3 inch sportex backboz on my x reg vtr but want to know if I put a sportex center pipe on will it be a lot louder and will it pop as I slow down any help would be appreciated

   Is the current centre section a straight through pipe ie: no box?

   tbh mate i changed my centre section and couldnt tell that much difference. has more of a rattle sound i guess. it is louder, just. and will kinda pop.
   
   since i put my de-cat on its a hell of a lot louder, and gurgles and pops all day. kinda does your head in tbh lost the suttle sound.
   
   but my backbox is different
