   Whats your paintwork like Currently?
   
   If its in reasonable condition, and all one colour. I'd personally Leave it as it is.
   I chalkboard painted mine, because It was crash damaged and had a mix and match front end. So chalkboard paint was the viable option.
   
   Imho, it looks pretty wank. Unless done right, and shizz.
   Expect to lose a fair bit of resale value aswell mate.

   If the Bonnet needs a respray, Chalkboard that 1st..
   To see if you're gonna like it. If not, you can always leave it as it is and just have the bonnet to piss about with if you ever get bored.

    i did my 1st westy with chalkboard paint was alright, but when you get tits of friends who have secret chalks in there cars and write bare shit on it, kinda gets annoying after a while aha

    my saxo had a chalkboard bonnet with a chalkboard widemouth ahah,
    then i just went mad and did the boot and roof in chalkboard :L

    with a spray can nahhh, but chalkboard paint yeah cos had use a roller or a brush to get in the areas hard to get in the mouth bit,

    ano chap, maybe cut the roof of and turn it into a convertable? looool!
    as long as your sand the paint down well you should get a good finish, more work what goes into the prep the better it will come out
    btw dont do what i did n knock the tin of chalkboard paint over, my garage/drive was coverd in the stuff

    when i did it, i just sanded it down to the top layer of paint of and the shine out of it, then painted away thats it and worked wonderd, as long as you sand it down well you wil be fine pal, i have a pic of mine when i just finished like 10mins after photo hang fire lol

    was at a set of lights and the police was on the other side of the road i went past and next min it swung around with lights on im like eh? wtf lol!
    copper got out n went get out son, walked over to my bonnet and went do you think this is acceptable, i went hmmm guess not,
    then he told me remove it with water and if he saw any bad jesters or drawings again on the car i will be givin a £60 fine looool

    i had a 6k civic pal, never got stopped once in 4 months, in the saxo i got stopped between may and july9 times, for checks for insurance, licence and car was in working order, been breath checked 3 times lol, i do have a section 59 on me tho, comes off in july

    section 59 is if your been a right pain in the arse in there eyes, mine was for taking of at a set of lights to fast, rather silly in my eyes cos i wasnt breaking a speed limit and didnt wheel spin, but it lasts on you and the car for 1year, get another your car gets taken of you and have pay £120 to get it back and longer you leave it it goes up, think its £20 a per day,

    if you cant afford pay the cash to get your car back or it aint worth paying them the cash cos your car aint worth it, yeah you have the option to sign the car to them or you wait and pay the next day to get it back, pretty much pays for there xmas party do chap! lol
