wheel bearing?

    i've just changed the o/s strut on my 2000 vtr. ive noticed a grinding clunking noise since doing so. jacked the car up, there is a minimal amount of play on the o/s bearing. there is a lot of play on the n/s one though. is the small amount on the o/s normal or is this bearing knackered??? i know i need to change the n/s just hope that i don't need to do both. also the strut was from a vts, was identical apart from abs sensor,,everything seems fit properly, or is the bearing from a vts different? im a bit stuck!!!!!!!!!!
