Tigersealing arch trim

  1. #1
Bought new clips today to attatch a new front arch but they wont stay in as the front wing is slightly dented so going to have to use "tigerseal".

My question is where do people apply it as the arches are hollow and surely if you put it on the edges it will seep from under the arch?

    Anyone?

put spots (thick) in the hollow but enough to make contact
with the panel then place on panel hold with
masking tape or better tank tape

Was gonna do this myself mate as my arches never set flush even with brandnew clips from citroen.. Could also run a thin line along the edge od the arch and then soon as any leaks get someone to wipe it away not sure if it would work...

How does anyone who has done this manage it ?

Well I've ordered some and going to give it a go.
Before the arch flew off it was flush but now with brand new clips it has a massive gap lol

I had same issue with my passanger front wing, guy i bought it off stuffed the wing up and replaced it, ended up running a thin line of tigerseal right on the inner edge and someone with a rag and some acitone to take of any the escaped, dont actually think any did escapt to be honest and everything look tip top now, although.. drivers side is starting to come away slightly now so might need to tiger it up
