Important! : Car Wont Start (could it be this wire)

  1. #1
Tried starting my car and guess what???????????? It wont start. No fuel is getting to the engine, no spark. it is turning over, but nothing else.

Now my car did run out of petrol a few days ago, so I thought it could a number of things like fuel filter, then i thought the fuel pump etc etc.

Now I think its my alarm, I have a Clifford concept 650 alarm. Under the dash I can see this wire (pic below), I've never seen up til now. I think something has come unplugged.

Now on my car you usually turn the key half way then press the button on the key fob and at this point the lights on the dash come on then you turn the key again to start the engine. but its not doing that now. like i said i can see this wire unplugged, not sure where it goes or what it does but does anyone have a clue bout this wire.

i know the pics are bad there taking off my phone, will get better in daylight

On the alarm box, is there a plug that this wire will go into?

If so, plug it in and try it

It looks like the sort of connector used with Alarms, so definitely check the box over.
