Powdercoating rust?

   Okay so i am getting another rocker to get powdercoated,
   i have a few offers but some guy said his is un rusted and you want one like that to be powdercoated otherwise a rusted on would bobble and bubble underneath? is this true its going to completely refurbed?

   Yeah it will more than likely react mate it did on my springs, best thing to do would be to sand it down and get it acid dipped, this should stop it reacting with the rust and will give a better finish.

   any decent powder coater will sand blast/vapour blast it then spray it with a zink phosphate treatment that kills rust and will give a brilliant finish.
